Scent sales are riding high– therefore, too, was the energy of the market’s ever-expanding citizens at the yearly Scent Structure Awards luncheon on Tuesday.
Held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City, the event exposed the complete slate of finalists throughout 19 classifications, likewise calling winners in 5 of them ahead of the yearly awards event to be kept in June.

Of the 5 winners revealed at the luncheon, Robb Report’s Justin Fenner took home the Scent Editorial of the Year Award for his profile of Francis Kurkdjian entitled “The Male With the Golden Nose,” while Veronique Gabai took home the Indie Scent of the Year Award for its citrus-y Délices des Bois scent released last September.
The Ingenious Scent: Item of the Year award went to D.S. & & Durga for its Murder Secret perfume-layering set, which instilled a dosage of intrigue into among the year’s most popular fragrance patterns, while Diptyque’s Fleur De Peau vacation partnership with artist Lucy Sparrow captured the Product packaging of The Year, Ultra Luxury/Luxury Award. Marc Jacobs Daisy Wild, on the other hand, took home the Product packaging of the Year Award for the prestige/popular sector.
