LAKELAND, FLA.– After a five-year hiatus, Campbell Soup’s plant in Lakeland, Fla., will as soon as again be producing Goldfish crackers.
The Norwalk, Conn.-based business just recently held a worker working with occasion “to construct a group that can assist support Goldfish production in the bakeshop.”
5 years back, Campbell Soup stopped producing Goldfish at the Lakeland plant and moved production to its center in Willard, Ohio.
” At the time, it made company sense to focus Lakeland production on bread, rolls and flat crackers,” stated Carolyn Mulvihill, a senior interactions supervisor for Campbell Snacks.
Now, the business will as soon as again be making the crackers at the Florida center, together with Pepperidge Farm bread, buns and rolls, Campbell Soup stated.
” Goldfish is among our bestselling treats, and need for Goldfish is increasing gradually,” Ms. Mulvihill stated. “In an effort to satisfy need and continue the momentum around this renowned brand name, we chose to bring Goldfish back to Lakeland where we have the abilities to produce and disperse.”
