CHASKA, MINN.– Apple Valley Foods United States, a subsidiary of Kentville, Nova Scotia-based Apple Valley Foods, stated it will close its fresh and frozen pie production center in Chaska on July 11. The statement was made as part of an Employee Modification and Retraining Alert (WARN) notification submitted on May 13.
The center closing will lead to the removal of roughly 95 tasks, the business stated.
Apple Valley Foods is a subsidiary of Avon, Ind.-based Harlan Foods. Harlan Foods makes baked foods, desserts, breakfast foods, treats and seafood.
