And easily, Bonnie Raitt has another Grammy to her name. In an upset win, the icon won the 2023 Grammy award for tune of the year for “Easily” on Sunday (Feb. 5).
Getting the award from very first girl Jill Biden, Raitt called this win “an unbelievable minute.” And certainly, it sort of was, with Raitt’s bittersweet ballad about a heart transplant vanquishing mega-hits consisting of Lizzo’s “About Damn Time,” Harry Styles’ “As It Was,” Beyonce’s “Break My Soul” and Taylor Swift’s “All Too Well (10 Minute Variation).”
