A renowned program requires a renowned entertainer to close it out. To conclude the newly returned Victoria’s Secret Style Program on Tuesday night (Oct. 15), Cher took the runway to provide 2 of her most motivating hits.
After an effective choir introduction, with images of Cher from various phases in her profession flashing on the back screen, the super star appeared onstage in a shimmering black one-piece suit and matching jet-black hair. She began the efficiency with her 1998 hit, “Strong Enough,” and provided the emotive verses surrounded by her dancers, before belting the empowering chorus.
The 78-year-old star then strut down the runway and stepped onto a gold platform to perform her 1998 timeless, “Believe,” as a few of Victoria’s Trick’s many cherished designs strolled the runway in angel wings and timeless red and pink underwear, consisting of Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Candice Swanepoel and, obviously, Adriana Lima.
Both tunes appeared on Cher’s 22nd studio album, Believe, and topped the Dance Club Songs chart– “Strong Enough” for one week and “Believe” for 5 weeks. “Believe” was likewise a four-week leader on the all-genre Signboard Hot 100 tunes chart in 1999.
Cher headlined the all-female lineup of the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Style Program, following efficiencies from LISA, Orianthi and Tyla.
