In the center Wednesday night’s (May 28) rain-soaked stop of the Cowboy Carter trip in East Rutherford, N.J., Bey observed 2 fans in the “Club Ho-Down” VIP area of the crowd holding up an envelope asking her to inform them the gender of their soon-to-be-born child. Bey checked out the indication aloud to the crowd and guaranteed the couple that “I will return, I assure,” before heading into her next number.
At the very end of her program, simply after a rousing performance of “16 Carriages,” Beyoncé went back to the couple in the crowd and had them skip the envelope. “My hands are sticky,” the vocalist chuckled as she had a hard time to get the parcel open amidst the rain. Pulling the envelope apart, Bey smiled and held up a paper stating “cowboy.”.
” It’s a young boy! God bless you. Congratulations! Thank you a lot for letting me belong of it,” Beyoncé stated to the anticipating couple, before holding up the ripped envelope and laughing, “I’m keeping this.”
Fans seeking to get their own in person experience with Beyoncé still have lots of possibilities to do so. The vocalist’s Cowboy Carter Trip plays its last program at MetLife arena on Thursday (May 29) before heading to Europe for 2 sets of dates in London and Paris. Bey will then return stateside for a last set of programs in Houston, D.C., Atlanta and Las Vegas.
