James “Buster” Corley, among the co-founders of the Dave & & Buster’s chain, suffered a distressing brain injury months prior to his evident suicide according to his child.
Kate Corley informs TMZ … her daddy suffered a stroke 4 months ago that impacted his interaction abilities, and the part of his brain related to character.
As we reported … Buster passed away Monday, on his 72nd birthday, from what polices are calling an evident self-inflicted gunshot injury. Cops in Dallas state he was shot in his house prior to being required to a regional healthcare facility where he passed away.

Buster’s child is remembering her father as “somebody who appreciated individuals, complete of life, charming” … and she desires individuals to concentrate on his tradition as a D&B co-founder and not his death.
She includes, “Having him as a papa was legendary. I got to see personally the number of individuals he assisted and a market he developed. He dealt with everybody the exact same, everybody mattered to him no matter who it was. The very first thing he did when he retired was thank his better half and constantly stated he might not have actually done it without her. He is a legend and the coolest individual in the world.”
James opened the very first Dave & & Buster’s in Dallas method back in 1982, together with his service partner David Corriveau and went on to open more than 140 places throughout the nation.
