Diddy Charged With Sex Trafficking & & Racketeering
After Combs was detained based upon the sealed indictment, the indictment was unsealed on Sept. 17.
The 54-year-old was charged with racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, scams or browbeating; along with transport to participate in prostitution, according to court files acquired by NBC News.
The indictment declared Combs “mistreated, threatened, and pushed ladies and others around him to satisfy his libidos, safeguard his credibility, and hide his conduct” for more than a years, with district attorneys stating the supposed habits began around 2008.
” To do so,” the files specified, “Combs count on the staff members, resources, and impact of the multi-faceted organization empire that he led and managed– producing a criminal business whose members and partners taken part in, and tried to participate in, to name a few criminal activities, sex trafficking, required labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and blockage of justice.”
According to NBC News, Combs pleaded innocent and was rejected bail.
” He’s going to combat this with all of his energy and all of his might,” his lawyer Marc Agnifilo informed press reporters outside the court house prior to the arraignment, ” and the complete self-confidence of his attorneys.”
