Gene Hackman’s Child Elizabeth Jean Hackman Speaks Out After Death of Star, Better Half and Pet
Gene Hackman‘s child Leslie Anne Hackman understood her daddy to be in prime health.
In reality, according to Leslie, the Oscar-winning star, 95, was active before he was discovered dead in his Santa Fe home, together with his other half Betsy Arakawa, 64, and among their pets on Feb. 26.
” Regardless of his age,” Leslie informed the DailyMail in an interview released Feb. 27. “He remained in great physical condition. He liked to do Pilates and yoga, and he was continuing to do that a number of times a week. So he remained in health.”
In addition to Leslie, Gene was the daddy of Christopher and Elizabeth, whom he showed his ex-wife Faye Maltese. In 1991, the French Connection star married Betsy, who was a classical pianist, and who Leslie credits for keeping him in such good condition in his later years after he retired from acting.
” They had a fantastic marital relationship. And I offer credit to his other half, Betsy, for keeping him alive,” Leslie stated. “Betsy took extremely, great care of him and was constantly watching out for his health. So, I appreciate to her for that, and I’m extremely saddened by her death.”
