The world’s biggest freestanding round fish tank is blown to smithereens … producing a flooding catastrophe in Berlin that’s likewise eliminated 1,500 fish.
The Friday early morning disaster damaged a 260,000-gallon tank at Sea Life … the fish tank beinged in a complex that likewise houses a museum, coffee shops and a Radisson hotel.
The big tank stood 46 feet high, so you can envision the awful scene that was left when it shattered.
All of the water, glass and, regretfully, fish … spilled out into the surrounding plaza and cleaned through the hotel lobby out onto the street.
More than 100 very first responders and rescue canines apparently swarmed the location, and incredibly there were no casualties. A couple of individuals got small cuts from pieces of glass, and 350 hotel visitors were left.
When it comes to what triggered the catastrophe– that’s still under examination. Authorities do not see a clear cause yet. As one hotel visitor put it, “The entire fish tank burst and what remains is overall destruction. Great deals of dead fish, particles.”
