Taylor Swift provided Dave Portnoy a huge surprise this weekend– a letter penned by the pop super star thanking him for all of his assistance.
Portnoy– the self-proclaimed “king of the Swifties”– got the handwritten letter from Taylor’s bro, Austin, who personally provided it to the Barstool Sports owner before he participated in the vocalist’s Eras Trip show in Miami on Saturday.

Portnoy was so ecstatic, his “BFFs” podcast published the letter Sunday on Instagram with a caption that checked out,” What a present from @taylorswift to @stoolpresidente at last night’s Eras Trip.
On the front of the white envelope, Taylor doodled “Dave!” with star drawn beside his name. On the back, there was a green wax seal highlighting her fortunate number 13.

In the note, Taylor composed she mored than happy Dave was going to attend her Saturday program– and thanked him “for constantly being so helpful, so devoted, and for having my back when a great deal of individuals didn’t.”
On that last point, Taylor was obviously describing some reaction she experienced in September when she backed Kamala Harris rather of Donald Trump in the 2024 race for the White Home.
At the time, Portnoy leapt to Taylor’s defense in spite of his recommendation of previous president Trump.
